What centered t-case adapters are available for the SM420 ?
I know Novak has the D300.
Does anybody make a toy mini t-case adapter ?

Have no idea what it would cost, but I am certian that Marlin could provide for you everything that you would need to put a mini tcase behind a 420, considering that he has the Toybox available to bolt to the back of the 420..

Call them and ask..

I am not aware of anyone that makes something ' off the shelf ' for this application...

Good luck!

Marlin's toybox is a just an adapter to bolt the mini tcase to a SM420.
I think it is like $500 when you get done with it.

OTT also makes a nice adapter to mate a mini tcase to a SM420. I have one and am VERY pleased with it.

With the D300 adapter that Novak makes that will allow you to bolt a TON of different tcases with the 6" round input pattern to a 420.

WHat are you looking for?

I am looking for a centered t-case behind my SM420 for my new project.
I really like my SM420 so I'd like to keep it.
Going with a Toy mini diff with 3-link. :)

I went with the Novak D300 adapter....Never know..Atlas someday?!..I have a extra D300 if you go that route too!..Adapter looks nice..not all that long..Should be in my hands Tues or Weds of next week!

Interesting. . . .. . Both adapters are about the same money. (Novak's or OTT's)

That is perfect. :)
Toyota case is probably the way I will go.
Twin stick and low gear options are just too hard to pass up.

My brother in law just put a Marlin adapter on his SM420 and put in a centered minitruck transfercase with 4.70 gears in his CJ5. It is a very nice unit and it is very short, helping with driveline angles. Here is a good write up by Brandon Miller of River City Rock Crawlers SM420 to mini truck tcase
