I finally got some downtime and the shop opened up to get the parts on the 23' Pro ....

  • Eibach Pro specific 2.5/ 1.0 kit
  • Icon Tubular UCA's
  • Icon skidplate and Swaybar mount spacer kits
  • Ytamafia extended brake lines
  • King rear swaybar links
  • Dobinson 15mm rear spring rear poly spacers
  • Nytop turn down exhaust - removes dual tips and crunch point
  • Dr KDSS trackbar bracket and Icon Alum adj. trackbar
Initial reaction after about 20 miles inthat the track back setup totally resolves the rear end "chatter" and "stepping out" on rough section of pavement... the angles on the TRD PRO stock are horrible....

and the Eibach spring are very smooth....

Working to get the 37's on in the shop tonight...

I will have the TRD PRO Fox's w/ Eibachs and Icon Tubular UCA's avail for same shortly once the Kings and Dobinson's come in .....

and also be listing again the TRD PRO BBS's and 295/70 Duratrac's....

@RS6tofj80 I'm just going to come out and say it... I don't like you. ;)

You're being a terrible influence on me and I got this truck so that I wouldn't have to screw with adding a bunch of completely awesome (and necessary) additions, but I can't help myself. Your truck is looking awesome, I wish I would've gotten white. Saw this picture of the tires on your truck and then walked out to mine today and after seeing the donuts Toyota left me with... Yuck

I think I'm going to find myself just doing the 'ol wash-rinse-repeat of what you've done already.

Couple of questions for you:

- What do you think your net lift is assuming you're on the Eibachs still? I worry the Eibachs will be too soft with static loads on my truck once I get a bumper and new cover for the back.

- Understanding those Toyo's are a true 37, what mods did you have to make? I just put my snow tires on, but I'm going back and forth on whether or not to go 35 or 37.

Love the truck man, cheers!

haha - yes, I do bring out that in some folks.... it looks like we've had several of the same past rigs too...

The Pro Eibach setup is pretty solid seemingly so far.... I've got the coils on the front on the factory Fox's, along with Icon's shim kits for the swaybars and skidplate - and in the rear I added a .6mm rear Dobinson ply coil spacer in the rear...in addition to the Eibach springs. I figured I'd need it with the decked set and the bedrack.
To get alignment right I added the Dr KDSS regular bracket with an Icon adjustable track bar rod and King swaybar extensions...

It's down a bit in the rear right now but waiting to see how it settles in with some miles... the ride is excellent with a bit softer rebound on hard pavement creases... and it feels very planted at speed still. I use the truck often for work, and sometimes need to cover 500+ miles a day.

This setup likely is a gateway drug for me..... I'm debating an adjustable shock setup and figured that I could likely find a home for the Fox's/ Eibach's and the rest of the mods support jumping to Kings or ADS's....

Lift is right at about advertised... 2.8" in the front right now and 1.4" in the rear...and yes the Toyo 37's run about to spec.... and I'm a huge fan of the AT3's . I ran them on my Ford worktruck and they're on the Wife's DD.

I added the Backwoods storgae boxes Friday night and have the rear bumper to get installed this week once the Baja S2's arrive... still debating from bumpers and likely going to add Backwoods roof rack to complete that part of things ..... I was holding off thinking I'd like to keep the sunroof useable , but have opened it twice in a year...

Jealous that you've got the extra pep of the Perf pkg.... !!

I had the hood wrapped with a matte black w/ texture that was a close to TRD digi-camo as I could find -trying to reduce the glare and flash....and also had them wrap the tailgate and remove the letters.... liking it so far.

I've got the backwoods bumper going on this weekend I hope .... and then waiting to pull the trigger for front bumper.... need to get the dang windshield fixed first - took a lugnut to the center at 80+ mph... not cool.

So pulled the trigger on Rack topper, Roof rack for the cab and front bumper - all from Backwoods..... hope to get it all on before the holidays....
Ran the truck back to TX from VA via NC and TN - it really covers ground well and the 37's are a non-issue on steeper inclines...in fact it's faster off the line now....

had my fuel tank skidplate's front edge flip down when driving in heavy 40+ mph winds at 90+ mph..... it cracked and rubbed on the ground making noises I couldn't figure out for a good 10 minutes..... cut it off and have ordered a RCI steal version.... not impressed with some of the shortcuts in materials on the tundra...

I know this truck personally, and the photos are deceiving. It looks pretty normal, until you get up close, and the tire size hits you.

I also know this thing gets pushed pretty hard. I think we are long past worrying over a recall at this point!

I finally had a window to get some of the pile of parts in the shop on the truck - local shop here in VA did an amazing job... I wasn't up for drilling the roof for the roof rack ! Need to get going on some lights.. and a winch - and..... and...

I changed out the Eibach Pro spec spring in the rear with 400lb rated 3" Dobinsons... it utterly solved the rear wallow and kickout. - and added a bit of rake... I'm running a Decked drawer system loaded with some stuff and the bedrack ....

And we replaced the silly plastic Gas tank skidplate with RCI's steel version - nicely built. Going to get the rest of their skids I think...

If anyone need springs for a tundra I've got my full set of Pro OEM's - and will have the full Pro Eibach's and PRo Fox's avail shortly.....I've also got a full set of mudflaps avail and the longer Pro brake lines and some other stuff.....
