Nice. Can't wait to see those pics! Are you going with front only, or on all 4? What were the deciding factors for going with this brand and this size?
For one, I wanted a wider stance. I have always been partial to the tires slightly outside the wheel well look. I don't think I'll get that completely but anything more than the stance I have will be an improvement IMO. Two, after reading a couple of threads, I need these if I want to put on my Rock Warrior wheels. I guess the old model LCs need wheel spacers in order to run the RW wheels. I plan on keeping my set of stock 16" wheels with MT KM2s. I will keep the tire combo for when I really need the traction but plan on putting some BFG AT on the RW wheels for my daily commute. Hopefully I'll regain a little better MPG as well as bring down the tire noise. Not that I really mind the tire noise now but I can appreciate a smoother, quieter ride.
I chose these particular ones (Spidertrax) because I figured if Slee offers them, they have probably been "field tested". Not knocking any other brands but some of the pictures of the eBay brands look a little suspect. They look a bit unfinished. After seeing these ones in person, I can see the build quality is top-notch. Also, the blue anodized looks F-ing dope.
I have a set I'm posting in classifieds if anyone's still looking - Slee/Spider's with about 4-5k on them..... ran them with my RW's befroe I went to the new setup. Very impressed with the utter lack of vibration or any issues....
Questions: I'm running the 2.5 slee medium lift, uca's, diff drop, stock 16's with 295/75 BFG KO's. When I'm at full articulation or full lock under load, am I going to rip up my fenders?
