Skid plates for '99 1HZ76

Hey All.

Recently imported a '99 1HZ76 for my first LC purchase. I have been scouring the web for vendors that provide skid plates but have yet to find any that supply pre-'07. Outside of finding a local fabricator to have them custom made, does anyone have a source or suggestion that would have these? Appreciate the feedback.

Hello,

Skid plates for 2007-on 76 Series are an option.

Some fabrication may be necessary to fit them, but it is better than starting from scratch.

Are you talking about the one under the radiator or the one under the transmission?

The ones under the radiator are easy to make. I've made several and they're much better than the factory ones.

But I've never made one of the transmission ones.

Frames are wider so those would be hard to modify
