I had no idea. Dropped my '15 off this morning at the dealership for some recall work (seat belt?) and looked over a newer 200 in the showroom. First I'd noticed one w/o the monitors. Good to know........

iPads and smart phones happened.

The dealer told me they see less and less of them over the past 5 years, and unless it’s a special order any new ones they get for the lot don’t have them.

I doubt we will even see the DVD slot soon.

Well... Sort of...
...but the screens were even dumber than that.

-The 2nd row screen monstrosities only appeared starting with the 2016 model year... which was NUTS... ...because by then, the iPad had already matured into its 6th or 7th generation.

So to plunk non-interactive...media-player-only ”tech” into a world of **Interactive** media consumers...was bizarre.

For some unknown reason, they were also HUGE appendages...jutting out into the cabin, especially if folding the second row forward for cargo...despite Toyota hacking permanent, massive chunks out of the seat backs as well.

People HATED them, and tried to create custom “blanks” that could go into the crazy seat holes.

Took Toyota a year or two to get a clue and stop putting in these “new” dinosaurs that were dinosaurs even their very first year...!

Yeah....... When I bought my '15 I would have considered a '16 or '17 (this was back in '17) but couldn't get around those hideous screens. Complete deal breaker. More amazing was that the same year model LEXUS didn't have them.

My ‘18 didn’t come with them so I had the Dealer install a set into the back of the headrests...we never use them!

So I guess I can go ahead and sell the ones I removed from my LC? Would anyone want them? (I am wondering the same thing about my 3rd row seats as I plan to have the LC for at least another 5 years if not 10. We just downsized and storage in our new place is at a premium. Trying to get rid of stuff that I will never use. That includes those screens.)

My wife's 17 LX has them.

@Eric Sarjeant bought my old truck and was looking for them. Probably not an item you can sell but I know he would appreciate them.

Yeah, they're worth some coin, that's the going rate on eBay ($3k/ea). Now I have zero idea why someone would pay that much for them but perhaps for $300-$600 someone would be motivated to actually replace a cracked or defective unit.
