I recently picked up a truck that has 24v system and needless to say needed a 12v source for the accessories. instead of the typical more expensive bulky units, i used these little dc to dc voltage convertors that i got from a friend that were not used for his project. they are rated for 5 amps each. i set them in parallel and adjusted the output to 13.8 v and 4 amps to charge a third 12v battery that i managed to squeeze in the stock battery box. seems like its working pretty good.
