What I show below won't work for places that require a government "approved" front plate, but it's my attempt to cover up the ugly (to me) area when there isn't a front plate installed. This is on the Heritage Edition TLC the wife & I recently picked up. Had a local boat shop cut a piece of 1/4-inch thick Starboard (brand name for what I think is HDPE) 4.5X14-inches, then mounted the emblem. Factory plate to body mount holes are 1/4-inch in diameter and 8-1/4-inches apart. The four holes for the badge are all also 1/4-inch diameter. Still have some work to to do on the corners to match the factory shape in the plate area. Also have an IH8MUD bumper sticker on lower left side of liftgate glass. Think I'm done for cosmetics.
I had my custom ordered somewhere online 4 years ago when still had the 16. Attaching picture. I like the idea of the heritage one you have. Classy. Just would need to find a silver backing for it as the black background contrast too much on silver. I wish Toyota didn't leave the ugly license plate hole. It is 90s approach. It would be so nice to have nice flowing bumper with a bracket you can attach like on most Toyota cars.

I like them...

We have an LX, and I don’t necessarily want to re-badge an LC, but I appreciate the heritage and origin. For that reason I think some form of badging isn’t “extra” on these.

I think I like a “full time 4wd”’or classic “4wd” emblem only for the land cruiser community to appreciate (which really is why we like these trucks - for the ones who know - the others don’t matter).

I want badging that says "Not a Highlander"

Honestly, when the 200 first came out...the Highlander’s shape at the time was so crazy similar from a rearward distance that it took me a while to distinguish...
I was not a fan.

But...like all LCs in the last 30 years...everyone hates on them...until they don’t. ;)

Same with the 80...the 100...the 200...most likely the ____.
