Sicily Island Outing Nov 23 - 25th
Since the Kisatchie fell through a few of us will head out to Sicily Island for the weekend. Park details are below.

always call for an appointment before coming -all prices subject to change. One rig with driver $40. (you can have all weekend)
Extra riders $10 each. (you can have all weekend)
Immediate family with one rig $50. (spouse and children under 18.)
Annual Membership includes 12 months, unlimited days.

Type 1: One rig with driver and one guest of your choice $200
More than one guest can pay the $10 rider fee at the gate.
Type 2: Immediate family with one rig $200 (spouse and children under 18.)
If you only have one rider it does not have to be family.
Type 3: Immediate family with multiple rigs. Add $100 for one extra rig and $50 for each rig after.

Camping Prices:
Free camping (no electricity) Tent camping with electricity $10.00 per night Campers with electricity $20.00 per night
water and electricity
At this time two bath room and two showers for everyone to share.

I talked to a few folks last week and it sounds like several are gonna head to Sicily Island instead :)

I thought the orginal ride was Nov. 23-25?
Have a group from LA4x4 headed up to SI as well for that weekend.

It is this weekend sorry bud I'm all messed up with dates lately. I'll head up there Saturday morning and will bring a chainsaw to cut up some firewood that way I don't have to haul a bunch in the cruiser. I'll also bring some charcoal I hope our BBQ pit is still on top the hill to use :) I'll ditch this thread and start a new one for Sicily Island. Nick Wyatt, Tim, and James were talking of going as well.

Gotcha, if there's room I'll stay down there as well but if its crowded we'll head to the regular spot on top of the hill :) not sure if I'm going solo or if Holden is going with me I just picked him up from winter camp last night and he's been living out of his tent for five days and he smelled like it too :lol: I'm not sure if he's going to elect some R&R this weekend or come along.

Are they expecting a big crowd? I saw John said another LA4X4 group was going and Nick at B&M said they were going as well.
 
From the posts on LA 4x4, Yes. The spot right by the bath house is taken, or claimed atleast by some new camper rig thing. And there are a bunch of other first timers going, and what not.. Should have a full park down low...

They had a big crowd a couple of weeks ago and they had plenty of room for tent camping behind the bath house, but we are open to what ever works best.
