Yeah Shane (@Juggernaught) you need to let us know how you got the stupid plastic shield off without cracking it. I have been trying on mine and havent had any success. Going to use mine to power my Hellas that I have sitting on my workbench (along with my Ultimate Headlight harness).

Toyota switches designed for the pickup truck back in the 90's. Fits the coin receptacle spot on the OEM FJ60 center console exactly. Made to fit with correct indentation and everything. Maybe still available? Don't know. Don't have PN.

There is no part number stamped on the switch (just checked).
I think I purchased those switches new maybe around 1990 at a Toyota dealer in the USA. They were a switch that went in the then current 1990(ish) Toyota mini pickup truck. That I know for sure. They were not FJ60 switches, but the center console holes were designed to accept this switch shape. The switch label says "Deck Lamp".

Maybe this switch (or switch shape) was used on future generations of mini trucks, so it is still available??? Don't know.

Would any aftermarket switches fit in that spot? I was thinking of doing something like that in my center console but didn't know if any switch would fit without modification to the console. I don't really want to cut into that. I really like that idea!

Nicely done, I was kinda thinking about doing it that way too. Thanks for the picture

No worries. I actually punched a few extra to try & sell if your interested.

I am waiting to have the money and then will grab one of the old inclino-meters that goes in the pocket spot under the stereo. I have seen a few on ebay but never had the cash to grab them.

I got mine from Australia/New Zealand. A fellow Mudder in Australia helped me since the seller wouldn't ship to the US (he bought it, shipped to me, I sent him funds via payal)

Cost of the inclinometer was about 1/2 of what I saw in the US ebay site.

Would love one as well. Any chance we could put together a group to buy from overseas?

Just ordered a Tuffy console and don't have one yet but thinking of putting switches on the front of it. Would the switch blocks like the Blue Sea 3 switch panel work and not be loose? How thick is the Tuffy console?
