great to know. this is the exact question I've been contemplating essentially: when does [xyz] piece of gear start to make sense given a particular use case.

Seems 1.5 lift, 33s and sliders should be very solid for an exploration rig.

Dont even need the lift, unless you are planning on stuffing bigger tires in there or need to use heavy coils to carry more weight.

Sliders are debatable too lol where are you planning on wheeeling ? Trying to hit the rock shelevs of southern utah ?

Ive been to many many places with stock front end suspension and no sliders .

Just build it based on what you want to do.

I've got about an inch lift now, I like how it looks and it didn't compromise much

I think there is something about some of these protective mods that allow one to relax a bit more when navigating certain trails.
Similar to the LT vs SL rated discussion around tires. I'd like to just drive and not have to overthink my line at every moment.
