When I installed the ToyBox in front of the mini-truck case in the rock buggy- I didn't modify the shift rails in either case. Now when I have the ToyBox in low (lever forward, shift rail back, and the regular t-case in high range (lever back, rail forward) the two rails run into each other.

Should I have trimmed them both a little bit? If I take it apart this Winter and work on this problem- how much do I trim to keep the rail from coming out of the hole it rides in?

Input?

Thanks,

Luke

You need to trim the low range rail from the t-case in the rear. You only need to trim about 1/2" to 3/4". I think that you might be able to just drop the rear t-case and shift the low range rail into low and trim without opening up the t-case. Marlin has a great write up on his website about trimming the shift rails. Good luck to you.
