I think the ones under the FJ55 are the ProComp ES9000. I have no complaints so far. They've been there for a year.

save up for old man emus's if they make one for your rig .

OME has never heard of a Patrol/Safari.

The reality is I need shocks now. One is pretty much gone - probably when Kim and I went into Hale at Spring break. My back can't take another few months of jarring. I have seen Charles' rig loaded (I mean loaded) and if the Procomps have been doing the job for him on the roads he travels, then I am sure they'll be fine for me.

Hey John, let me know when you want to do the shock thing as I'll pick some up too.

Plan to order them in a week or two after I get back from Ottawa. Still need to confirm the right lengths and attachments in the Procomp as their cat has no listing for Patrols. Only ARB and Rancho in the USA lists the Patrol.

They will come to a mailing address I have in Sumas. Saves more $$$. BTW, I am assuming it is okay to have a bit longer extension but make sure they don't bottom out. What do you think?

I can't see how more travel would affect anything negatively.

Get used ones from Steve now, save up and get good shocks later. The best mod I've done on mine was getting great shocks. I was going though 4 every 1 - 2 years and the stability sucked. I've had these ones for 3 yrs, still going strong, rebuildable and the stability factor is night and day.
