Hoping to get some advice on my suspension. I'm trying to get away from spending $$$ if possible. I'm running 33's and should be going to 35's pretty soon and wanted more space in my wheel well. I am getting my 80 prepared for the Rubithon because I can't miss out on it this time.

I am currently running OME medium lift front and rear (with airbags on rear) with the 60018/60020 Nitro shocks paired with them. Now I got a set of 2" spacers (front/rear) and if I install them is it a must to replace the shocks with the longer "L"??

I know if it gets any taller I would be looking at panhards, caster plates or even DC shaft. I have the adjustable panhards and plates already. If there is a need for a longer shaft, I got a stock one that I can bring to the machine shop and get worked on.

Thanks for your thoughts...

It's not a must but you'll be missing out on suspension droop. You're going to need longer bump stops, longer brake lines, etc.

Or it'll droop and damage a shock

Maybe I should consider "L" shocks if I go that route. Need to wait for tax refund then. LoL. I will definitely purchase brake lines. As for the bump stops, I think my uncle can fabricate one for me.
