Guy's,

I am shipping an FJ45 Troopy from Brisbane, Australia and most likely to Long Beach. My boss wants to use RORO, but I want to save the money and add some freight to the rear, so a container would be the best.

Will it fit in a 20 Ft. container or is a 40 Ft. Necessary? It has an 80's ARB bull bar and a rear Kaymar bar.

Any advice would help even if it means running out side with a tape measure to double check on yours.

Thanks,

-Ben

I don't think the price difference is that much, so I would go with a 40ft.

There are some parts I need, so I would be willing to chip in on the freight if I can ship some parts, too. :p

Thanks,

I will ask the boss. What is the size and weight of the items so I can send that with the request?

I am going to ship my HJ47 Troopy in January from Australia to Germany. Ll use RoRo but had a good look into container shipping as well. Mine has a very long steel bull bar and tow bar and the total length is 5,2m so it fits into the 5,44m container. Height is also no problem. With big roof rack and 31s I am on 2,2m height and the container door is 2,24m. Just deflate the tires a bit in case.
