Shifter help and/or pics please?

How do you all do your shifters with a SBC, 465, 3spd Tcase setup? my 465 shifter ended up under the heater box, so the PO put a big bend in it right at the trop of the tranny then back up again. that works fine, but he has the T-Case shifter bent to the right clear over into the passengers shin to clear the heater. I'll probably just get the torch out and bend it around to bring it back and more to the left, but how have you guys handled this? Are you drivetrains further back in the vehicle to where this isn't a problem?

Don know why your t-case handle has such abig offset init???? I got the same combo and did NOT have to bend my t- case lever. Maybe the PO was just bend happy?

Very possible! So are the t-case levers completely straight from the factory? This engine is pretty far forward it seems. There is no mechanical fan installed now and it would be a tight fit to get one on there. I did find, since I posted this, some references in the engine swap section to bending shifters depending on how far forward the motor is, so I guess this is somewhat normal......
