Need your help identifing what year this shifter came from .I have a 1970 fj40 and am wondering if it will work on it .I found a oem winch for 700$

Not sure if looking for PTO shifter to go the winch you found or this is part of the winch you found. The PTO unit for this shifter has a different bolt pattern on the transfer. I have seen a later 63-80 PTO installed on one of these early transfer case. The gears didn't mesh correctly and were damaged.
