Shift Lock Color Question

So when I purchased my latest Cruiser the shift lock cover was missing. I had the dealer replace it but the part they put in black. Is this correct? The dealer said it’s only available in black but it seems like it should be silver to match the rest of the shifter trim?

I kind of figured it was black when I couldn't find any other part numbers online. I wanted to be sure though.

I agree black is the correct color, but your dealer installed your replacement part upside down...
