Anybody have one I could run a piece of steel through? For the heat shield around my catalytic converter. Else I'll have to do it the hard way.
 
Let's see what @DangerNoodle says...he has done some sheet metal work (observed on his build thread).

I don't have much sheet metal stuff unfortunately. You could do some geometic stuff with a break, but I guess that really depends on what you are looking for. Maybe call Metal Products LLC in the springs and see what they can do for you. I had them do a lot of my more complex pieces that I need to have made in 4' sections. They are a full functioning shop and will make whatever you draw up, if it is possible.
 
Here's what I came up with. Not the prettiest, but it should do the job. Just hope the exhaust doesn't rattle against it - stuff is pretty tight.

What did you put between em?
 
1/8" x 3/4" steel bent to shape with an HF ring roller. Then bent the sheet metal around it with clamps and riveted it. Stainless steel on the inside, aluminum on the outside.
