i think i might the outboard the springs in the rear just for the extra stability that it offers.....did you re-use the FJ55 rear sway-bar or did you use one off of a FJ62 on the rear of your pig? when i do it i am going to put the 60 series E-brake setup in my pig as well

i can't wait to put a 60 series axle in the rear and outboard it to match. unfortunately it will prolly be 2 or 3 years before i get a break/opening in my shop from working on the rockcrawlers again to do it lol.

won't be that long...you can slap the 60 rear under there in no time at all. no outboarding required. the stability comes more from the width of the axle and only a little bit from how far out the springs are.

i will be using a 55 sway bar with extended links when i finally get mine done.

did you mount your front springs in the same location (only wider out), or did you move them forward at all? i'm thinking of putting them a tad farther forward to make up for the larger tire.

they are in the same location.......do you have to move the leaf spring perches on the 60 axle in to match up with where the 55 leafs are mounted on the frame or are they the same distance apart on both vehicles? if so then hells yeah that would almost be a bolt up and go mod

no, they are not in the same place. you cut the 60 perches off and pick up the dodge perches (about $10/pr) and weld em on.
