My measuring computed to 1/20”. So I was thinking 3/64” or 1/16”.
well 1/16” is like 2mm, so I take your lead on this. Where did you buy the 1/32”setting tape?
It was on ebay, sold as being for chevy application. 20ft roll. I had to do one twice to get it right so you may need extra. The channel was around 7mm and the glass is 5mm. The 1mm stuff just would not fit at all, for me anyway. The price went up a little since I bought mine.

How did you get the corners of the tape so mice? Did you cut the angels and inner cement them?
I found a video on youtube how to do it. Like this:

I used an xacto knife with fresh blade to cut the corners and do the final trimming. Also inspect the frames to make sure the sides have not been bent in, narrowing the channel.

Did you use setting tape to hold the door window glass into the bottom piece that the window regulator moves up & down. Or is that a special seal?

Well that glass channel weatherstrip does have a part number, but the factory piece on my 01/72 looks like standard glass setting tape. You'd either have to trial and error on thickness or take measurements of inside track width and glass thicknes to find the best fit.

Right. I did notice there’s a part number for it. I was thinking I may not need to buy it if I already have the sealing tape. I also need to replace that window regulated channel on mine because it’s pretty much Swiss cheese!
It looks like you have microfiche. I have some, and some old readers. I which I had the correct year, 1966, parts catalog. Every once in awhile one comes up for auction on eBay. But the owners always want too much for them. I have not found microfiche for 1966. I’m sure if it ever existed.
