I have 2005 sequoia sR5 4wd, drivers side rear wheel bearing needs to be replaced

Cost: Toyota 1100

local shop 600

contemplating DIY- I've done a lot of researched how to do it.

To do this need to buy:

1. axle shaft puller OTC 095212501101 Rear Axle Shaft Puller for Toyota

2. OEM bearings and seals

3. Press from HF, around $200

I'm thinking DIY will save me $$$ in the future when the other side goes bad.

Any of you guys done this job before? difficulty level?

I'm not a mechanic but been doing knuckle job, suspension lift and some other stuff on my 1996 LC

I have an 02 with 240,000 miles I kept wanting to change the bearings but a mechanic friend of mine keeps telling me to wait until they go out. Its been an awesome vehicle.
