The schedule shows the date as September 17th, and Mosquito Pass (Alma/Fairplay) as the trail.

This conflicts with the 40s Only trail ride (same date), so do we want to move it, or keep it as is?

I guess we should gauge if there's any interest in the run at all. No harm no foul if no one can make it.

This will be my first run with the group, where are you guys planning to meet before leaving town ? Also is there any place picked out to camp for the night ?

We usually meet at the Western gas station on Highway 24 just East of Woodland Park at 8:00AM. I do believe this is a Day trip so there may not be anyone camping. We will get a Thread started for the trip here in the next couple days.

I'm in to go on the 17th as well. Since this is my first meet up with you guys if you don't mind let me know how it usually works I'd greatly appreciate it. Sounds like the gas station is the place to meet up and around 8 if that's the same for this run as well. Just wanna make sure I make it! Thanks guys.

Just thought I would check and see if any of the locals were running this next week. Looks like you guys will be headed to Mosquito pass while we are still on the road from Kansas. Going to be passing through the springs on Sunday on our way to antero res area. @SAS I think I bought a suspension from you several years back for my wife's 94. Hope you guys have a good ride.

If you're expecting to see the reservoir, then ya better do some homework--they (state fish & game or Denver Water) drained it last year to rebuild the dam.

Antero Dam Project

If you're just going to be "in that area", then all good, it is still as beautiful as ever!

I remember meeting you, but cannot recall what we bought/sold/traded. Was that in 2008? Wow, time flies!

8:00 is a good meet time, departing @ 8:30. CB channel is 4; Ham frequency: 146.580.

Greg or Tracy, are you going? I'll take head or tail, whichever you don't want.

Family has a couple of RV's on the West side of the reservoir, we use it as a basecamp.

Had a good time yesterday.

Sam & Sandy -- great catching up....sorry about the tire but it made a great lunch stop...

Nice meeting everyone else! Hope to see you again soon.

On another note....we were talking at one point about a good headlight upgrade for my 60--what was the brand?

Nice meeting everyone yesterday

For the headlight upgrade I would find an hid kit that fits your housing. If you pull out your current bulb it will say what size it is. I like the 55watt kits like a 5k or 8k color. Hope this helps

Uh oh. Was there another Duratrack failure? Was it a, sidewall? We destroyed a sidewall on one of my wife's duratracks a couple months ago, and I've seen a couple others on the trail. They seem to be really living up to their flimsy sidewall fame. I will not be buying another set...
