September 2017 club business meeting, 19th at 7pm

This month's business meeting will be on Tuesday, September 19th, 7pm at Toyota dealer south (motor mile, South Tejon and Interstate 25).

Several of us often meet at Ivywild/Bristol Brewery for dinner and snacks, 5:30 or 6pm until 7.

I'm out for this one...working until 8pm. 40's only run was great! 16 rigs in total, including myself and @Pops joining the guys from Rising Sun. All 16 rigs made it up Argentine to McClelland Pass. I camped with a couple of guys from Rising Sun and except for the rain, it was a good time!

We had a great showing at Bristol/Ivywild, and then a good number at the business meeting. We had some old members re-appear, and several new members join.

A committee is being formed to develop an idea for a club-sponsored event next year; I will make contact with those people, and JB will lead the planning/development effort.

Proposed to look into the "christmas parade" which happens sometime in early December; we don't know if this conflicts with the traditional USFS tree-cutting activity, but we have a little time to determine that.

After the meeting concluded, an idea emerged to host a "parts swap meet" as a club event next year. We can investigate that and formalize a group to develop the idea in the October meeting.
