what was the final answer on fixing the pinion angle on the red 4Runner at Kodak...never heard more about it afterwards?

Ubolts were loose, so the whole axle had rotated upwards. They were just trying to use some leverage to rotate it back down and I guess retorque the ubolts. I told him his next purchase really needs to be a traction bar, and he gave me every excuse under the sun as why it wasn't necessary... Not my rig, not my call :) That thing would be VERY capable with the front locked.

well after his starter about fell off at the top of daniel (1 of 3 bolts isnt enough) his U-bolts on the rear leaf packs were waaaaaay lose and the lift blocks were separating from the axle allowing the wrap. Just dont know about FLOW :D hopefully they are better at wrenching on beemers.

That rig could be killer with a traction bar, no blocks (better springs), and a front locker.

I had a CO2 tank with an impact wrench and the handle from my HiLift they could have used.....oh well guess they got it figured out.

Ryan, sick pictures. I hope you had a good time riding shotgun:D

Ramon, sweet video. Captured some great climbs there:grinpimp:

Seriously. I don't think I'd ever bring my beemer to that guy:lol:

It was a couple years ago, at the ledge on the approach to Kodak Rock. The wife was not pleased at the time. We flopped on her side and, apparently, when she looked up at me.....I was giggling.

Anyway, I got my revenge on Saturday. :grinpimp:

I tried to tell that kid about a traction bar the first time i seen him. Between that and the Hollow aluminum lift blocks and loose bolts it just all added up to failure. I kept telling him the Yota Gods were not happy with him after putting all the BMW stuff all over it.

And Allen did great after sliding the seat forward there. Might have to get him a remote start for it next time though.

And Al. I said it in my thread but will say it again here in this thread where it belongs. I know someone above was Very Proud of how this weekend ended up. I know he is telling all the other Cruiserheads up there about this run.

Amazing weekend. Thank you AL for creating such a fantastic event!!

I don't know what the final head count was that went up to the memorial service, but I am sure having "X" number of cruisers made a huge impression on logan's family. Mary and I talked with his Dad Sunday morning and he was talking about the satisifaction installing the "power steering pump" gave him, since L was always talking about needing to replace it. I hope he will join us on the Dec run.

It was great to meet new people and finally put a face to those that I have chatted with here. Seems Eric your wife and mine hit if off and now think very similar. Mary loved Ramon's 40. I guess the troopy may get a buddy soon.

Looking forward to the Dec Run.

Great event, I was very glad I went. Al did an heroic job putting this thing together. I'm sure it was the biggest one of these I've been to. The really special thing for me was getting to meet and get to know Kenny and Lydia. To get to talk to them so much about Logan was like to have him back for a little while. I'm hoping to see them at URE in the years to come. And that awesome 80 of course.

Ramon, Marshall and whoever else did the work before and during this thing to make it so great thanks much and of course Al's work rates yet another 'well done'.

To echo the previous comments and compliments Congratulations on a great event AL

and a big thank you to all others that helped make such a wonderful Uwharrie event. Almost hesitant to name names for fear of leaving someone out but The Keefers, Adam, Ramon, and Brock come to mind as well as all those in attendence and the great sponsor support. It really was great being able to spend time with the Monk family recounting favorite memories and stories of Logan as well as to get them out on the trail to share with them a bit of the hobby he loved so much.

So nice to see new and familiar faces alike. Looking forward to next time !

All in all a great time.

I have to agree with something Jason said.. And thank you to the person that got video of the Monk family riding in Logan's rig. Watching that video made my heart skip beats. Just amazing seeing them taking part in one of the things that Logan loved. I know he was looking down with the biggest smile on his face watching Al show his parents a good time.

THANK YOU Al for all you did. This was a great event in so many ways. And thank you for giving us the chance to show the Monk family that they are a part of our family.

Thanks to all that put on this event and all who attended. This was a great event for me to make my come back. And Thanks to all that tolerated and entertained my little ones.

Great memories all around... Great job everyone.
