I'm impressed. I'd have to see how durable the coating is..... those silicone sprays work great for a day or two but then loose their affectiveness.

I also wonder if the coating stays flexible, I suppose it does if they spray it on fabrics. If its flexible i doubt it has good abrasion resistance so the "simulated concrete chute" wont work for long.

None the less a nice idea that will have some good real world applications. 40 series hard tops come to mind! :D
 
I saw the rep on some link or other say that it lasts a long time, but friction does wear it off at some point...but yeah that's the question.



Still. pretty cool. I'd love to see some results of prolonged immersion....that'd be kickass antifouling...
