the steering... the bends compensate for how much it drops. otherwise the rod ends would be maxed out and still not line up. Definitely funky looking though.

this is what people used to do before high steer. i've heard them called "z-link"s before. I like how it's been painted so an inspection officer could see it from a mile a way.

They used to do that on jeeps years ago. Some hacks still do, I once drove one and the bump steer was horrible.
