I was out riding my four wheeler today. I wanted to scout a trail that i found a couple years ago. It turn out to be a really good trail for stock or medium built truck for what i saw. I got about 1/2 mile in and had to turn around because of a tree in the trail. might be a good outing for us in the future. The trail kept on going so I have no clue were it ends. I might go up next Friday if the weather holds up. there were a couple of hill climbs and water crossings. It was a good day to bad it was cut short by a tree.

Public or Private land? Do a little homework incase you need permission to be on the land.

It was public land. Just don't want to say where for now. No need to get gates thrown up.

Was this up in mountains? I wont use the name but I do know of a "trail" (road) that is currently blocked by a tree. It's a FS road in Blue Ridge WMA. Sounds like what you're describing. Have you been back yet?

Not sure this affects many places that we tend to ride, except maybe Dawson Forest WMA...but the GA DNR is now charging for day/annual passes on 32 selected state-managed areas now.

they are east of Blue ridge area. I do not think it was the same trail. but that area has seen a lot of storms in the past year so there could be more trees down. thanks for the info on passes.
