I do not.Do you have access to Techstream?
I do not.
So I can still buy a key and have it cut to match the valet one? But to make it work I will need to go to ebay to get Techstream and then program it?If you can get ahold of it 2002 models are able to have the immobilizer reset onboard using Techstream.
You can have the key you have now duplicated and use Techstream to reset the ecu and register new keys.
Yes, you will need to make sure it has a 4C chip.So I can still buy a key and have it cut to match the valet one? But to make it work I will need to go to ebay to get Techstream and then program it?
I assume the techstreams I see on eBay for like $30 will work?
I do have a plastic card with a key attached that gives the code. When I put the card next to the ignition and put in the key, the security light goes off immediately. Can this be used as a "master" to program others? If all you have is a valet you have 2 choices to get more keys. You can either reset your immobilizer using Techstream, or have your existing key cloned.
Sure can! That is a master.I do have a plastic card with a key attached that gives the code. When I put the card next to the ignition and put in the key, the security light goes off immediately. Can this be used as a "master" to program others?
