seats interchangeable?

Will bucket seats from say an 00-03 Tacoma fit/replace a 60/40 bench split seat from a 97 Tacoma?

I wanna say yes but I would measure up my bench seat mounts and double check before buying the buckets

I just did this same swap last weekend. The seats bolted strait upbut I didnt have a way to mount the console. Just madebsome mounts and was good to go. Unbelievable the difference it made.

How about the other way around...sort of...anyone put the 60/40 bench split seat from a 97 Tacoma into a 3rd gen 4Runner?
