Is there away to completely disaseble the seat rack for powder coat or paint?
seat restore...has anyone?

I am not sure what you mean by seat "rack", but I tore at set of seats apart and painted everything up before reupholstering them. I wish I powdercoated everything though, even though it was expensive enough already.

Took the seats apart on my 69 and had them powder coated. It cost me $75.00 and I think that was a good deal. They did both seat frames,bench seat brackets and benchseat back panel. Am very pleased how it came out. All that really needed to be done on the bench seat were the legs and brackets, back panel, latch since everything else is covered with upholstery.
