Hey all, I was curious if anyone has any pictures and/or thoughts on the SDHQ rock sliders? I can't find any reviews or many pictures outside of what they have on the product page. They seem nice- sporty and a bit more streamlined than the Bud Built offerings. They are super expensive though, so I would love to get some feedback before I pull the trigger. I am also looking at White Knuckle, but there is something about the look of the SDHQ sliders that really does it for me.

I had the same draw to them and the same reservations about how costly they were. I posted in the favorite rock slider thread and got a few opinions and comments on the design but it doesn't look like anybody on here has them installed. I ended up deciding on the tried and true Bud Builts instead of the unknown of the SDHQ.

Appreciate it, I find it wild that no on has them installed. I guess considering the price compared to other brands it's understandable. Thanks for the link though :)

Which vehicle were you looking at the rock sliders for? I will get you some pictures and information!!
Hey thanks for the reply, that's top tier customer relations haha. I'm looking to put them on a 200 series Land Cruiser. They look great and I'm definitely interested in trying em out.

Here are some more pictures of the sliders installed on our 200 Series. Feel free to let me know if you need any more angles of them. These are completely bolt-on and are as strong as a weld-on slider. The main tube is 2" X .120" wall chrome-moly and the outer tube is 1.75" X .120" wall chrome-moly. They follow the Land Cruiser's classy lines and look seamless while offering great protection. The sliders are supported front to back offering slider protection throughout the entire slider.

Waking up an old thread and adding my 2 cents.
I just picked up a set of these off marketplace. Got a great deal from a dude whose wife didn’t like them.

Overall the construction and finish is quite good. Welds are clean and they stick tight to the body. Big positives for me is chromoly tube and fully bolt on mounting. No riv nuts or drilling. These use three point of attachment to the frame. One under the front body mount, one mid frame take, and one above the rear trailing arm forward mount. They use welded nuts which work fine as long as you don’t drop one inside the frame. That aside, the install is pretty easy and any frame cover you remove fits pretty much right back on.

Are these the best in terms of protection? Probably not. BB have six points of attachment. And they’re proven. Will these be fine for me? Sure I think so. Again, great deal, made in America, good phone support, no drilling, 100% reversible, look good.

Lastly, these are supposed to include an integrated Rear trailing arm skid but mine didn’t have them. Pretty genius design, if I can get them sent out I’ll update the post.
