Hello all! I apologize for adding more threads but despite a lot of searching I can’t seem to find a part number or specifications on a fitting. My SD carb has the fine thread vacuum advance port; I’m looking for the piece that goes between here and the course thread vacuum hard line. Thank you for your time! James. Below are photos of my carb and what I’m looking for:

Hi! Thanks for the reply. No such luck yet. I had called and emailed one place and nothing yet. I haven't been on the hunt too hard yet but I also think I may post on the 40 page as well. Ironically I found an older post that said 'post to the 25 section' or something like that. No worries. One should turn up I just need to look harder and put the feelers out there! I can't imagine it's too special of a fitting but these older 40's..nothing surprises me. 1 inch at a time!

You do know that SD40 went away in the 1960s , with maybe exception of still building replacement parts. Last FJ40s gone in the mid 1980s. Parts replacements are long going away for these as they are classics. The V8 started in the 1960s as well. The FJ CO. is premier in replacing drivetrains in these to modern specs. I prefer seeing the original as it was designed.

If you know the thread pitch for both items, you can at least see if it is out there somewhere , or was it special to Toyota .
