I suggested to Bill at Bob Lake to try a product that seems to help with the chronic bush rash that cruisers tend to get and can't really get rid of.

I have had success with a Turtle Wax product - called Scratch and Swirl (Can Tire). I have a black truck and it got rid of 70 percent of it, but mysteriously I have had another major outbreak that has reappeared over the long weekend.

yup...the turtle wax scratch & swirl remover seems to work awesome on my black runner. apply and buff with an orbital polisher..and it takes away most of the pinstriping. i dont bother with a wax afterwards either...as the turtle wax stuff buffs out to a beautiful shine. the deeper scratches though...are pretty much there for life.

yeah...black trucks are impossible to hide dirt & scratches...but for that day or two after a wax job...mmm. yummy haha.

Scratch removing.... I'm still working on getting the mud off the truck. 2 1/2 hours with the presser washer and now it's time to brake out the soap and wash cloth. I've been using the Mequiar's NXT Generation TECH WAX and it seems to do a good job of making the scratches dissapear. I cleanned and tested it's on a few of the deeper scratches I got on the weekend and after the first application they are not noticiable until you are right next to the truck...
