I have been putting this off for some time. My power steering gearbox leaks pretty bad and well I haven't ever rebuilt one of these. In the past I just took it to the store as a core. Well the new is a little steep for me at the moment and it performs really well, so I am thinking rebuild.
How hard is this to do? I have rebuilt a couple engines in my day and usually I would just tear into it and call it good but after some reading and looking at this rebuild kit I am a little hesitant.
Has anyone done this before? If so how long did it take you and did you need any special tools? Any input or help would be really appreciated.
