scouring for resources and options

Hello,

I have a brother in Lawrence who's '94 pickup (3.0v6) died (there is a knock in the engine).

Are there any good shops or salvage yards or people with parts in the area? Trying to determine the best reasonable route to take with this truck. Any and all information is appreciated.

or try car-parts.com it will give you options

Eric Jobe rebuilt a 3.0 a couple of years ago with good results. Cost was reasonable too. You might check with him.
