Scion T1807 Headunit

I purchased this new on ebay before I realized it required trimming of the dash in my 80. I know it is a popular mod in the 80 forum and everyone says it is not difficult, but I'm a coward I guess. I paid a ridiculous amount for it, but it is just taking space in my basement now, so $75 obo (plus shipping) takes it. I'll ship it in the Toyota box I got it in for safety. No cables/harness of any kind - direct plug-in for the 80 series factory dash harness.

Doc, it looks like a 2006/2007 model since it has the volume knob. Any aftermarket adapter will work by plugging in to the CD changer connection on the back.

Very cool, I have one in my 62.

Nope. I don't know what number / model has the ipod connector, but it is not this one. There is a recent thread on the 80 forum indicating that it is nearly not worth the trouble of buying and connecting the ipod version b/c of the hassle. If you choose to go that route though, make sure you get the wire harness with the radio. It does not have a seperate part number and cannot be ordered from Toyota (again, all according to the recent thread in the 80 forum).

Levels are about as good as they're going to get, or at least as good as they're going to get with me behind the wheel.

Yep - I thought it was just me until I found XT1 last week. I stopped by his shop yesterday and it looks like his "Tundra V8 into an 80" project is pretty awesome.

Yeah - MO. Recently moved west of the city a ways. Travel around the area weekly so pretty much any QT is home.
