I have a Scion stereo for sale that I pulled out of my Land Cruiser. The radio works great. I installed a single din radio in its place. It comes with a 30 pin connector for an older iPhone/iPod. $30.

How do you connect this to your iPhone ? Is there an aux jack for that ? Thanks

There is no aux jack unfortunately, there is a cable that plugs into the back of the unit that connects to an older style 30pin connector. See the fourth picture. I imagine there is a version for the newer style connectors but I don't know for sure.

Looks like it's for I phone 3. So it needs some kind of adaptor to a newer iphone version .

Yeah it does. I tried using one of those 30pin to newer style adapters, it worked to get the sound through the head unit but it did not charge it, which was a no go for me at the time. I think that had to do with the adapter, not the cable.

I wonder if there's a 30 pin female adapter that has an aux jack at the other end.
