Unfortunately, I have not had time to get through mine yet. And the really sad part is that I forgot to turn on my video camera most of the weekend AND I was trail leader for every ride I went on except half of one because I turned the wrong way and we had to turn around. So, most of my video is of nothing in front of me. :bang:

I have remedied the situation for the next trip. New camera mounts and the fact that I will refuse to lead on at least one trail.

Sadness....

I'm a rookie to the new Go Pro and have had problems with the conversion speeding them up too much and dealing with the very large files but I think I cracked it I've done two successfully and watched them on my Tv in 1080P and they look great. Problem is I turned around and tried to upload them to youtube and they're too big and it didn't like the format :bang: Need to get with Cody and Jonathan for some pointers :) I have about a dozen videos we started at trail start and stopped them at the end so most are long.

Here are two of the runs I was successful with, I think I have an understanding of how to reduce the size now you have to take them down to a 1/2 of the size and visual quality as they're recorded in to host on youtube. I'm still getting the hang of speeding the video up because real time is so slow it takes too much time to watch it. Trying to find the happy medium is the challenge.

When I was in Orlando they had this guy with a GoPro on his head and he was watching it on his phone has he was videoing it. Can you Bluetooth your gopro to your phone..Larry? Nice videos ... looks like y'all were doing 30 miles an hour on the trails!!

Cool, I think I'm going to make a helmet mount or chest mount for our Disney trip at the end of the month. The new Go Pro Black has wireless capability and I can see the view and control it from an app on my phone, I also have a wireless Go Pro remote but the app works better. I also like the option to import the still pics right to the phone on the fly :)

FYI they make a chest and helmet mount. I've even seen somewhere online a guy who makes a baseball cap with a mount seen in and a neck strap...

I'm on top of the world! I got to have my picture "made" with my buddy, Scott Berrilleaux, and that picture made it onto the pages of the latest eddition of Toyota Trails! I could not be prouder than to be associated with our many fine friends from the Bayou State! The honor is all mine :)

You beat me to it Bossman. Lots of great articles in the Trails this time. Great SCC article on page 25, Scott's history of gumbo on page 28 plus many more worth reading.

Oh, and don't forget the good looking ad on page 17. ;)

Thanks so much for the kind words. Bossman, the pleasure and honor is ours. We enjoy it each and every time we do it. However, you guys will have to tolerate me just for a moment while I correct a "wrong" here accidently done by me... It was suggested that we send a few pics and Landry sent me some and I sent what we had dealing w/ the gumbo (except for it cooling in the pool) and I'm just embarrassed that they didn't put one of Kegley in the article. Please allow me to say that I'm sorry and w/o a doubt the gumbo would not be ready in time w/o the help of Paul and Ms. Jean. Paul, despite how busy he is, never bitches or gripes about the work.. he just shows up early and gets it done. He stays late and cleans. Always giving 110% and nothing less. I am forever grateful for his help, friendship and hard work and mortified that he was left out inadvertently. Those of us that know the SCC and the Coonasses, know Paul Kegley and know he's always in the thick of it.

...and Hornsby, you were still the better looking out of all of us so I'm glad you're there :)

Couldn't agree more and we submitted a few photos it looks like they chose the hi resolution over the cell phone pics I assume for the print value :)
