will a Scanguage work on a 1990 lj78 ? or is there something similar that will?

Looks like we need to have an 2LTE and 1KZTE specific section...

Use the search function, it's really effective if your search terms are specific.

This has been recently covered in this forum, please use the search function. The diagnostic plug in the engine bay is jumpered to produce blink codes.

i don,t mean as scan tool. i mean as scanguage II . guage for boost,trans temp, egt, etc. all on one guauge. scanguage. com has them for obd2 only.

Ah, no, those gauges read the ECU data stream and produce the values they display. The ECU in the LJ78 is way too old school to really produce any useful information such as the scan gauge will do.

Best to just install some gauges that provide the info that you want - Pyro, oil pressure, boost, engine temp.

I'd place a priority on Pyro, engine temp and oil pressure.
