there is a scam on craigslist for an fj40 in "mint condition" for 4500 claims he moved to montana for wifes job and the car is at the shipping company already and wants you to do a transaction through yahoo finance transactions beware

This guy always says he's in montana. He needs to change it up, freaking amateur. He does ebay scams too, saying he's from Montana and listing a 'if you want to buy it, it's 4500" in the auction. His bank is in Florida or at least where he wants you to wire the money. Also sends you some phishing emails off ebay. Easy to spot cause he never puts a buy it now but lists in the description a buy it now of 4500 or 5K.

Hopefully this guy rips off the wrong person (i.e. a politician or police officer) and someone finally nails his ass.

Did you flag the listing? May or may not get listing removed, but it's a start.

I've seen the same one throughout the southeast states listing and flagged everyone that I seen. I had contacted and he told me about it being in Montana at the shipping company so I asked where so my buddy could come check it out and he would have cash in his hand if it was in good shape. And guess what no reply.

There is a similar one that pops up every once in a while for a perfect GMC Typhoon for between $2000 and $3000. It is quite common anymore. A little info is exchanged, a sob story. A deal too good to be true. The the icing on the cake. Shipping is included from a generic shipping company, of which you can't contact, Shipping will be 2 days with a 5 day option to return at the sellers cost, all to be paid for by........Western Union!

Is anyone actually stupid enough to fall for this kind of crap? Why hasn't someone put a bullet between the scammer's eyeballs? Or at least broken his fingers with a ball-peen hammer? However, this is Mud, not Pirate.......
