I want to make you aware that there appears to be an increase in scams in the used car part market. I recently lost a rather small amount of money in a 280z parts transaction and it is my understanding, per the Z Car Forum that these scams are happening across several other specialty car forums. Apparently, scammers are viewing the classified portion of a forum and then responding to WTB parts. My best advice is if you don't know or recognize the member, only do business through PayPal.
Here is information on one scammer - goes by Mark Johnson, who is apparently still active. Keep in mind that these guys can easily change emails and other information.
