A buddy and I are heading to southern Idaho in a couple of weeks for a few days of backpacking in the Sawtooth Mountains.
Our plan is to leave the Seattle area, bee-line it to the WA/ID border, take a few days getting to the Sawtooth's, spend about 4 days backpacking, then it's on to western Montana for a few days of exploring, then bee-line it back to WA.
I'm wondering if anyone is interested in sharing information on good 4x4 trails/highway alternatives and/or good car camping places in the area. I've done quite a bit of internet research, but nothing compares to some good Mudder beta.
Thanks!
