I consider it more of a hobby, than a 'sport'. Another thing - taking away a right to use public land will only result in one thing. Ticked off citizens who would eventually revolt against the government over such nazi/communist ways.

Kind of like trying to take our guns away. You can ask me to turn in my assault rifle, my deer rifle, or my handguns. Does that mean I will? NO. It means I'll laugh in their face and let them have them one round at a time (some faster than others if rapid fire is in order :D )

I agree with you that taking away our trails and our guns isn't going to happen without a fight. But also keep in mind, the enemy isn't working to take it all away at once. Every trail closure is one little step for them to their ultimate goal. If we keep losing the little battles, the war will be lost before we know it.

I understand what you are saying - in the end they can pencil whip our 'rights' away, but it doesn't mean the people have to listen to the government. It will all boil to a head eventually. The people will have their trails 'taken' away by federal agencies, and when enough is enough, the people will tell them to go stuff themselves, and use the trails anyway, even by force if necessary to prove a point.
