I just wanted to let everyone know that I am starting a Savannah Club/Chapter...official hub...I'm not sure what to call it yet for those of us that live in or around Savannah.
GA- Savannah Cruisers
I moved here about 6 months ago and am still active in ONSC where I moved from recently. A Great club but a little far away. I've noticed all of your meetings for this club seem to be in or North of Atlanta keeping many of us further East and South from joining or attending. That 4+ hour distance keeps many from attending HAMOMs and other monthly events.
It looks like you all have been around for about 30 years as an official club. We would love to schedule some of our events in conjunction with you all. For now our my goal is to start another official TLCA approved Chapter and our own BOD but we will see if we can gather enough membership in our small geographical area.
That and you don't find many hard core off road LC's in the area like seems to be the centric of the GA club. You get a lot of "mall crawlers" in this area and can't throw a stick without hitting an LX470. I think our focus will be more around family events, HAMOMS, and light trails that offer a great place for all to Camp and test out their stock vehicles without getting left behind.
Looking forward to working with and getting to know all of you in the GA area. I think this is going to work out well to tie the other half of GA together with you all up North.
Feel free to PM or Email me or post here if you have an ideas on how to make our two groups bigger, better, and more organized for the betterment of the Land Cruiser community.
