Alright guys I really need some help...I'm new to all this stuff and being honest will tell you I know NOTHING at all about this stuff but I'm ready and wanting to learn...Thought about doing an SAS on my 88 Toyota Pickup 3.0... I see that Trail Gear and AllPro both have an SAS kit for my truck BUT what else would I have to purchase to complete it other than the kit? I know I will need gears so what would be the best TURN KEY job? Thanks for your help and time!

I'd recommend reading this: Solid Axle Swap | Marlin Crawler, Inc.

It should give you a good idea as to what is required. Aside from the kit, the main items are a complete solid axle, drive shaft(s), and most likely some bigger tires ;)
I just got some 32's that aren't on my truck yet...would I need bigger than that?
With the 3.0 I can't remember if this was only for low lifts, but the 2wd 3vze oil pan will give you more clearance :)
hmmm thats pretty interesting!! I'll look into it!

The general consesus is "keep it low with big tars" :D

If I remember right, the AP or Marlin 4" will fit 35's with a little trimming and some pinch weld mods.

As for what tire size you "need" is up to you. What kind of wheelin' do you expect to do? Is it a daily driver or a trailer queen?

Think through the whole process. You've got a TON of vendors for the Toy so have some fun with it!!

Do your reading and searching too dude, that's the best way to get edgeumicated. :)

Good luck with it and post up some pics of yur rig!!
