Sand Blast 2013 is the first ever four wheel drive event to be held on Bryan Beach, Texas. Pack the tent, fill the cooler, load up the kids and the dog for an exciting weekend of good times and light wheeling. (If you've never been to Bryan Beach, there are a few trails and good spots for some great poser shots! lol)
This event is free as of now to all those who wish to come who's rigs aren't afraid to get a little sandy. The plan is (depending on number of people committed to go) is to have the following:
- Pig roast/barbecue on the beach
- Bonfire
- Four wheel drive/recovery classes
- A ton of fun!
- T shirts & decals for the rigs that attend
IF we are able to find willing sponsors to donate prizes, we may have contests. Even for the kiddos!
IF we are able to retrieve volunteers to man cooking some pigs in the ground, serving; then we may ask everyone to pitch in monetarily for the food they eat.
We are planning on possibly setting up a large military-style tent with A/C as something of a dining hall for this event. Maybe we can use it to hand out awards, sing karaoke or even hold a break dancing contest. This could actually be a pretty kick @%$ thing if we could all get together that weekend to convoy to the beach, eat some awesome food, hang out with some old friends and make new ones.
