A week ago I started the task of replacing the front differential bushing on a new to me 2000 Landcruiser. I was able to remove the bushing but have not had time to remove the other two mounts, lower the diff., and re-install the new bushing. Fast forward to today, I'm dealing with an illness that prevented me from completing this over the weekend and I need the car moved out the driveway by tomorrow to make room for a roofing crew.
Is it safe to just start it up in N and push it out the driveway? I don't want to risk damaging the front differential cover by letting it slam into the cross member.
