I just bought an 80 fj40 and am looking to start doing so resto on the motor and underside. Im only in the states for a few weeks at a time so dont have the time or space to take the body off the frame and do a full on perfect job. Im wondering how efficient a job can be done by putting it on a lift and cleaning the frame and underbody and hitting it with zero-rust. And if so any advice would be great.
