Running Board Removal

Hi everyone,
Does anyone have instructions for removing running boards? I would like to assume it’s straight forward but heard there may be a concern or potential impact on the KDSS.

Easy peasy. Remove 8 bolts and the running board comes right off. Put the bolts back in to keep junk from getting in the cavities. Repeat for the second side.

Thank you.., kind of what I figured, but was told I needed to watch out for the KDSS system- not sure why- maybe this person was thinking AHC on an LX.

Aftermarket step sliders often require minor repositioning of one of the KDSS line mounting brackets.

Anyone know Right side, what this missing piece is called, or part number? OEM running board.
