Rubithon

Hi All,

I'm Looking for an open seat with someone going to Rubithon this year. Happy to split costs etc.

Question: In case a ride does not pan out. Can one drive to the trailhead, safely leave a vehicle there (FJ-60 not Rubicon worthy) and hike in to base camp? I have never been to the Rubicon, so I don't know the distances or possiblilty of getting to camp without a ride.

Yeah you can hike in to the springs, it would take the better part of a day you could walk it faster that a group of trucks.

I have a empty passenger seat. I am in Rosamond between Lancaster and Mojave. I haven't decided what day I am leaving though. I am on the Thrusday 7am run. I'll be trailering my 40 and unloading at probably Icehouse. Here are my potential hiccups though. I am waiting on a part to finish my roof rack project (more carrying capacity), and my to rig's AC is on the fritz. Send me a PM if you wanna ride along.
